New CEO named at Input
Input named Timothy Dowd as its new president and chief executive officer last month.
Input Inc. named Timothy Dowd as its new president and chief executive officer last month.
Dowd joins the market research firm from U.S. Investigations Services Inc., where he was president of the company's commercial services division. The division served commercial and government customers with employment screening and drug testing solutions.
"We looked long and hard for an executive with the skills and experience to take us to the next level," said Input founder and Chairman Peter Cunningham.
Dowd began his career at General Electric and was part of the GE Management Program. During his 16-year career at GE, he worked in marketing at GE Information Services and held vice president-level leadership roles in marketing and general management at GE Capital.
After GE, Dowd spent three years with ChoicePoint, an information services firm specializing in fraud prevention and risk assessment, as vice president of the workplace solutions division. He holds a masters degree in business administration from Emory University and is Six Sigma certified.
