CIO of NMCI joins Caelum Research
Donald General will be vice president of IT and lead the company's Hampton Roads operations in Chesapeake, Va.
Donald General, who was the chief information officer overseeing the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, has joined Caelum Research Corp.
General will be vice president of information technology and lead the company's Hampton Roads operations in Chesapeake, Va.
Before joining Caelum, he was executive director of the Global Network Operations Center Detachment Command. He oversaw day-to-day operations of the $11 billion NMCI contract. His responsibilities included development, implementation, planning and monitoring of NMCI operations, including the operational information assurance program.
General also is an adjunct professor at the Florida Institute of Technology and guest lecturer at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University.
Caelum, of Rockville, Md., provides research and support services to government customers in areas such as applied science, information technology and systems engineering.
