BAE to provide test support to Marines

BAE Systems Inc. will provide managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps under a five-year contract.

BAE Systems Inc. will provide managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps under a five-year contract that could be worth as much as $94 million.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract calls for BAE to assist the Marine Corps' Operational Test and Evaluation Activity at Quantico, Va., and other locations. The work might also include sea and land locations in the United States and abroad, the Defense Department said.

The Marine Corps System Command, Quantico, is the contracting activity.

BAE, of Rockville, Md., ranks No. 12 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
