A week after his resignation from one company was announced, Dennis Kelly has joined a new company that was recently purchased by his old boss and a group of former colleagues.
Kelly had been chief executive officer at TechTeam Government Solutions but left that company last week to join A-T Solutions Inc. as chief operating officer.
A-T was acquired in March by the private equity firm CoVant, which was founded by Kelly's former boss Joe Kampf, who was CEO of Anteon International Corp., and other former senior executives from that company. Kelly was a senior vice president at Anteon before leaving to join TechTeam. Kampf later sold Anteon to General Dynamics Corp.
As A-T's first COO, Kelly will oversee operations across the company, which specializes in analytical and training solutions to detect and defend against improvised explosive devices and weapons of mass destruction.
"The creation of the COO position and the addition of Dennis to our senior management team is essential to the successful delivery of services to our customers during this sustained period of rapid growth," said Ken Falke, founder and CEO of A-T Solutions.
