QinetiQ North America has won a $190 million contract from NASA to help the space agency manage several critical exploration projects.

Under the contract, QNA's Missions Solutions Group will provide a wide range of environmental test and integration services for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md.
The five-year award covers projects involving the Hubble Space Telescope, the James Webb Space Telescope, the Solar Dynamics Observatory and the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
QNA is working with Goddard to ensure that all future spacecraft can endure the environmental hardships of space travel, said Michael Stolarik, president of QNA's Mission Solutions Group.
QNA, of McLean, Va., is a unit of QinetiQ Group plc, of Farnborough, England, and ranks No. 45 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
