L-3 to support Navy C4ISR effort
L-3 Services Inc. will provide engineering and technical support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston under a new contract.
L-3 Services Inc. will provide engineering and technical support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston under a one-year, $17 million contract.
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, L-3 Services will provide support services for command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and equipment, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Among the services covered by the agreement are technical and systems engineering, analytical design, and system and equipment and sustainment and repair. Other services covered are training support, surveys and corrective actions, and intranet and extranet Web-based support.
The contract could be worth up to $89.9 million if all options are exercised over a five-year period. The company will perform the work in Charleston, S.C., and Havelock, N.C.
L-3 Services is a unit of L-3 Communications Corp., of New York. The parent company ranks No. 9 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
