Telos gets Netcents messaging task
Telos Corp. will provide messaging services to the U.S. Central Command under a new contract.
Telos Corp. will provide messaging services to the U.S. Central Command under a new contract valued at $2.1 million.
Under the contract, Telos of Ashburn, Va., will supply the hardware suite and Joint Service software licensing to the command for the Xacta automated message handling system.
The licensing arrangement will permit users in the command's area of responsibility to connect and receive electronic messaging support, the company said.
Xacta is a Web-based messaging system deployed by all the military services. The system was fielded by Xacta Corp., which is a subsidiary of Telos.
