Ocean Systems Engineering gets Marine task
Ocean Systems Engineering Corp. has won a new task order from the Marine Corps to continue supporting command and control systems for a variety of battlefield programs.
Ocean Systems Engineering Corp. has won a $6 million task order from the Marine Corps to continue supporting command and control systems for a variety of battlefield programs.
Under the task order, OSEC will provide engineering, technical, acquisition, administrative and management support to the program office for Marine Air-Ground Task Force Command and Control Systems, the Defense Department said.
A few of the specific programs covered by the task order are air-ground command and control systems, target location designation, theater battle management, and Blue Force situational awareness.
The programs will require assistance through all phases of the acquisition cycle, DOD said.
The company will perform the work, which is scheduled to be completed by March 2009, in Stafford, Va.
OSEC, which specializes in software and engineering services, is a unit of Apogen Technologies of McLean, Va.
