Chenok leaves SRA for Pragmatics

Find opportunities — and win them.

Chenok will lead Pragmatics' civilian agency services division, and will also lead the development and refinement of Pragmatics' horizontal business practices across the company.

Dan Chenok next week will become a senior vice president and general manager at Pragmatics Inc., leaving SRA International Inc., where he has been since he left government service in 2003.

Chenok will lead Pragmatics' civilian agency services division and will also lead the development and refinement of Pragmatics' horizontal business practices across the company. He will also support strategic planning, corporate and business development, company officials said.

Chenok's last day at SRA was Friday. He will start at Pragmatics on Monday.

"I have great respect and admiration for SRA," Chenok said. "This was just a great opportunity for me."

Pragmatics is a growing company and this was an opportunity to run the company's federal civilian work and help shape opportunities across the company, he said.

Chenok is the latest in a string of high-profile departures from SRA. Last month, Mary Ellen Condon left the company to join Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. as a principal in the Assurance and Resilience Service offering for government agencies.

Before joining SRA, Chenok served Office of Management and Budget's branch chief for information policy and technology, where he helped to shape and lead OMB's IT and e-government policy and budget work.
