ACI to upgrade DOD travel office
Advanced Concepts Inc. has won a blanket purchase agreement to help the Defense Department improve the Program Management Office's Defense Travel System.
Advanced Concepts Inc. has won a blanket purchase agreement worth up to $50 million to help the Defense Department improve the Program Management Office's Defense Travel System.
The five-year award is the largest contract to date for ACI, a provider of information technology solutions to DOD and the intelligence community. The BPA has a one-year base worth up to $10 million and may be extended for four additional years at $10 million for each year.
Under terms of the award, ACI will provide systems engineers, financial analysts, program analysts and subject-matter experts. They will assist the PMO Defense Travel System with its systems engineering, strategic planning, business process re-engineering, budgeting, software testing, configuration management, communications support, information assurance and other analytical functions, the company said.
The award consolidates several program management and engineering contracts for the Defense Travel System, which provides seamless, paperless travel support for military and civilian DOD employees on temporary duty travel.
ACI is a subsidiary of L-1 Identity Solutions Inc., a provider of identity solutions and services, based in Stamford, Conn.
