Find opportunities — and win them.

A 10-K race sponsored by Acumen Solutions to benefit the SEED School Foundation on Dec. 9. drew more than 2,900 runners, including Washington mayor Adrian Fenty. The race sponsors expect to top the $25,000 raised last year because they had a 24 percent increase in the number of runners from 2006.

The SEED Foundation is a national nonprofit group that works in urban communities to provide innovative educational opportunities that prepare inner-city students for college. Held just before Christmas, the Acumen Solutions Jingle All the Way 10K has raised $70,000 over the past three years.
