Indus taps Geehan to lead defense, intel sectors
Indus Corp. has named retired Army Maj. Gen. Brian Geehan as senior vice president for defense and intelligence.
Indus Corp. has named retired Army Maj. Gen. Brian Geehan, a 34-year veteran with extensive experience in logistics operations, as senior vice president for defense and intelligence.
Geehan is tasked with managing and expanding the company's business in the two sectors.
He joins Indus after a military career in which he oversaw global distribution and supply chain management, transportation operations, international and interagency logistics and strategic logistics planning.
His last military assignment was as director of logistics at the U.S. Central Command, where he provided strategic planning and policy guidance for combat and support operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and 10 other Middle East nations.
He also served at command positions in Qatar, Hawaii, Virginia and North Carolina.
Geehan has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Indus of Vienna, Va., a federal information technology company, has more than 550 employees and annual revenue of $100 million.
