Cascades Technologies to support USA.gov

Cascades Technologies Inc. has won a five-year, $3.5 million contract from the General Services Administration to provide content assistance and other information technology services to USA.gov, the government's official Web portal.

The Herndon, Va., company will provide content management, accessibility compliance, usability assistance, optimization services and project management support for USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov, the Spanish-language version of the site.

The Hispanic-owned company will also develop, write and edit content for the USA.gov portal in English and Spanish.

Cascades Technologies, an 8(a) certified small IT services company, has offices in Washington, D.C., Sterling, Va., and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The company ranks No. 29 on Washington Technology's 2007 Fast 50 List of government contractors.
