SAIC to supply Navy with program management services

Science Applications International Corp. will assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command of San Diego with multiple chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear information technology programs under a new contract worth as much as $70 million over five years.

Under the Seaport Enhanced program contract, SAIC will provide management services in areas including program, acquisition and systems engineering.

"This win enables us to continue [helping to transform] operational needs into effective and affordable chemical and biological capabilities for the U.S. military and our allies," said Tom Baybrook, senior vice president and business unit manager at SAIC.

SAIC ranks No. 5 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
