CSC to assist DOD with service-oriented architecture
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a contract from the Defense Department that could be worth as much as $89 million to provide support for a SOA program.
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a contract from the Defense Department that could be worth as much as $89 million over seven years to provide support for a service-oriented architecture program.
Under the agreement, CSC and its team will provide SOA support to the military services, defense agencies and field commanders by engineering, installing and operating classified and unclassified SOA systems at Defense Information Systems Agency locations worldwide.
CSC's team members include BEA Systems Inc., Raytheon Co. and Sun Microsystems Inc.
The value of the contract is included under the Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services program, which CSC announced July 31, 2006.
CSC of El Segundo, Calif., ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
