CACI to aid OSD's printing services upgrade
CACI International will help the Office of the Secretary of Defense replace its decentralized printing services with a centralized managed solution under a new task order.
CACI International Inc. will help the Office of the Secretary of Defense replace its decentralized printing services with a centralized managed solution under a new $30 million task order. OSD issued the order under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 2 Services (ITES-2S) contract vehicle.
The five-year agreement expands the scope of CACI's previous work with OSD. The company has already aided OSD in integrating its services and desktops, said Bill Fairl, the company's president of U.S. operations.
The new printing services system will provide transparency in such areas as collecting metrics and procurement information, providing real-time data on customer usage and requirements, and offering a single help desk point of contact.
CACI, based in Arlington, Va., ranks No. 22 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
