SAIC wins IRS support work

Science Applications International Corp. has won a task order from the IRS to provide support services for the agency's Infrastructure Strategy and Investment Planning program.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a task order from the IRS that could be worth up to $26 million over four years to provide support services for the agency's Infrastructure Strategy and Investment Planning program.

The IRS' infrastructure roadmap is designed to define activities at the tax collection agency over the next three to five years and help put in place a high-quality information technology structure that covers such systems and services as security, systems management, platforms and services, communications and physical infrastructure.

The task order will build on current IRS infrastructure strategies and initiatives by identifying new opportunities for improvements, SAIC said.
