Plateau picked for Veterans e-learning
Plateau Systems has won a contract from the Veterans Affairs Department for its electronic learning management system.
Plateau Systems Ltd. has won a $10 million contract from the Veterans Affairs Department for its electronic learning management system for career development, better employee competency and content delivery and administration.
The department will use the system for cybersecurity and privacy training and in other critical areas to comply with federal mandates.
With the contract, VA will be able to consolidate content that is currently housed in various existing systems into a single, integrated system so it can roll out mandatory training on a national basis.
VA is implementing Plateau's LMS and iContent service for storing, managing and deploying its custom and third-party training and development content. VA will initially use iContent to manage, host and deliver 1,500 courses departmentwide.
VA is implementing the e-learning system though an interagency agreement with the Office of Personnel Management. As an enterprisewide e-training initiative, VA's LMS supports the President's Management Agenda.
Privately held Plateau Systems is based in Arlington, Va.
