General Dynamics gets DHS professional services task

General Dynamics Corp. has won a contract that may be worth as much as $71.4 million over five years to provide professional support services to the Homeland Security Department's intelligence and analysis office.

Under the task order, General Dynamics of Falls Church, Va., will provide the Office of Intelligence and Analysis with systems engineering, architecture, governance, program management, information assurance and national security systems activities.

The department awarded the contract under the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions procurement vehicle. The company has performed similar services for the office since 2003.

General Dynamics of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 7 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
