Eagle lands Army support deal

Eagle Group International LLC recently was awarded a $58.4 million Army Forces Command contract for the Command Maintenance Evaluation and Training Team program.
Under terms of the award, Eagle Group's Comet team, composed of some 160 employees, will provide professional management, administrative and technical support services at eight unnamed Army Forces Command installations.
Work will include deployment or reconstitution under the auspices of the organization's G-4; deployment or reconstitution and routine logistics process assessments; unit and equipment readiness verification, validation and quality assurance; and support and training for Standard Army Management Information Systems.
The Comet contract has a one-year base and four one-year options.
Eagle Group International of Atlanta specializes in logistics, health care, information technology and base operations support. Current government clients include the State and Defense departments, the General Services Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
