CACI wins Navy maintenance system work
CACI International Inc. has won a new task order to service the information system data center used for Navy maintenance activities.
CACI International Inc. has won a $36 million task order to service the information system data center used for Navy maintenance activities.
The Navy Enterprise Maintenance Automated Information System manages the daily business operations, maintenance reporting and resource management for thousands of users worldwide. It is designed to replace the service's aging maintenance systems with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning program using SAP software.
The system manages the work performed at Regional Maintenance Centers in Norfolk, Va., San Diego, and Mayport, Fla., as well as at the Ship Repair Facility in Yokosuka, Japan, the largest in the western Pacific.
CACI will do the integration work at the Naval Sea Systems Command site in Norfolk and at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Washington state.
The Navy task order, awarded under the Seaport II Enhanced contract vehicle, has a term of one base year and three one-year options.
CACI of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 22 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
