SI, Stanley capture DHS service center deals
SI International Inc. and Stanley Inc. each won contracts from the Homeland Security Department for support services for four service centers run by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
SI International Inc. and Stanley Inc. each won three-year, $225 million contracts from the Homeland Security Department for support services for four service centers run by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The service centers maintain the mail, data entry, fee collection, file and adjudication operations for most applications and petitions for immigration services and benefits.
SI will support the centers in Lincoln, Neb., and Dallas, while Stanley will support centers in Laguna Niguel, Calif., and St. Albans, Vt. The four centers process more than 5 million applications a year.
Support services the companies will provide include mailroom operations, data entry, fee collection, and tracking and maintaining files.
SI of Reston, Va., ranks No. 42 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors. Stanley ranks No. 50.
