Garrett promoted at Acquisition Solutions

Gregory Garrett has been named chief operating officer at Acquisition Solutions Inc., an Arlington, Va., government consulting company.

Garrett will oversee the company's consulting operations and the Acquisition Solutions Training Institute, said Anne Reed, company president.

By consolidating executive oversight of its consulting and training operations, the company hopes to further improve its client-based, integrated service delivery, she said.

Garrett has led Acquisition Solutions civilian agency consulting practice. He joined the company after a 20-year Air Force career.

In other changes, Richard Hopf was named account executive leading support of civilian agencies. Peggy Alfonso has taken the lead of the company's solutions center as executive director.
