DLT Solutions wins Energy BPA

DLT Solutions Inc. has won a five-year, $45 million blanket purchase agreement with the Energy Department to provide information technology products and services.

The department's first order through the agreement is for Red Hat products and services, DLT said. Red Hat is one of the leading companies providing open source software and products.

Additional manufacturers' products will be added as needed by the customer, DLT said.

All components of the Energy Department, including its labs and contractors, are eligible to use the procurement vehicle. The agreement covers products and related services.

DLT Solutions of Herndon, Va., is a reseller of technology products and solutions to the government and commercial sectors. In addition to Red Hat, the company has alliances and partnerships with a number of other IT software and hardware manufacturers, including Autodesk, Network Appliance, Oracle, Quantum, Quest Software, and Symantec, to name a few.
