Calland, a former vice admiral in the Navy and deputy director of the CIA, most recently was deputy director of strategic operational planning at the National Counterterrorism Center.Kevin Boyle joined Vangent Inc., of Arlington, Va., as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Boyle most recently was assistant general counsel at General Dynamics Corp.'s information technology business unit following its 2006 acquisition of Anteon International Corp.Michael Rauschen joined defense technology consultancy Gestalt LLC, of Camden, N.J., as vice president of Army programs, charged with developing new business with the Army. Rauschen was in the Army Reserves for 13 years with Army Special Forces.Manuel De Ponte was named senior vice president of the national systems group at El Segundo, Calif.-based Aerospace Corp.'s regional office in Chantilly, Va. Ponte succeeds Wanda Austin, who will become president and chief executive officer at the company Jan. 1. Ponte most recently was general manager of the company's military satellite communications division.Amy Pennington, Susan Bogucki and David Hagy joined Force 3 Inc., of Crofton, Md. Pennington, the new marketing manager for the IT network solutions provider, most recently was client services manager at the Washington Nationals baseball team.
