Electronic Data Systems Corp. has won a $38.8 million task order to provide personnel support for the Army's Human Resources Command in Alexandria, Va., and St. Louis.
Under the task order from the Army Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services (ITES-2S) contract, EDS will supply infrastructure support, information assurance and help desk services for the two HRC centers. The command manages the activities of active duty personnel from Alexandria and Indianapolis, and manages reserves from St. Louis.
Under the Base Realignment and Closure program, the operations of the command are scheduled to be consolidated at Fort Knox, Ky. EDS will assist HRC in planning and executing that move, the company said. But no timetable for the consolidation was reported.
EDS of Plano, Texas, is ranked No. 10 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
