EADS gets defense agency support work
EADS North America Defense Security and Systems Solutions Inc. has won an information technology support contract worth up to $8.7 million from DOD.
EADS North America Defense Security and Systems Solutions Inc. has won an information technology support contract worth up to $8.7 million from the Defense Department.
The company, a business unit of EADS North America in San Antonio, Texas, will provide technical solutions for DOD's Defense Contract Management Agency personnel nationwide. EADS also will supply test and evaluation services.
The company will start the work on Sept. 1. The duration of the contract was not disclosed.
DCMA collaborates with DOD suppliers to manage the delivery of products and services to DOD agencies. The agency is responsible for ensuring that deliveries are on time, on budget and meet all performance requirements.
