DRC to support Air Force program

Dynamics Research Corp. will support an Air Force aircraft program, including the development and implementation of solutions to address the challenges to the aircraft's mission readiness, under a new $1.49 million task order.

The Air Force issued the 18-month order under its Design and Engineering Support Program. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base made the award.

DRC and subcontractor General Atomics will perform engineering design, prototype and system level testing. The companies will obtain data required for airworthiness certification for the C/KC-135 Aircraft Systems Engineering Program.

DESP II is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $1.9 billion to provide design, engineering and technical support services to the Air Force Air Logistics Centers through 2012.

DRC ranks No. 81 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
