Centuria gets Forest Service software deal

The Forest Service, a division of the Agriculture Department, has awarded Centuria Corp. a software development contract worth $70 million.

The Forest Service, a division of the Agriculture Department, has awarded Centuria Corp. a software development contract worth $70 million over five years.

The small business set-aside award comes through the Veterans Technology Services governmentwide acquisition contract for service-disabled, veteran-owned small technology firms.

The contract calls for Centuria to further enhance and support the Forest Service I-Web Program's 40 custom software applications, including program management, lifecycle software development, training, help desk support and Oracle design and development.

Centuria of Sterling, Va., has been a government services provider since 1996.
