The acquisition of Alexandria, Va.-based PMG will help ATSC strengthen its relationships with the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, the company said. It will do this by adding new customers with expanding requirements and priority funding, particularly in the realm of port security.
In addition to maritime security consulting, PGM also provides program support and information technology services to its customers. The privately held company has about 180 full and part-time employees supporting primarily the Coast Guard and Navy.
ATSC expects PMG to generate annual revenues of about $13 million.
ATSC of McLean, Va., operates through its subsidiaries, Advanced Technology Systems Inc., Reliable Integration Services and Appix Inc.
