Chuck Amos joined Spectrum K12 School Solutions
Inc., of Towson, Md., as executive vice president of field
sales operations. Amos most recently was chief executive officer at
Atomic Learning Inc.
Andrea Keilholtz joined geospatial information technology
consulting firm Podmilsak Group, of Fairfax, Va., as vice
president and chief operating officer. Keilholtz most recently was
the U.S. government sector vice president at Integrity Applications
Inc., working with intelligence and defense agencies.
Joseph Szymczak joined employee-owned information
technology solutions provider American Systems Corp., of
Chantilly, Va., as vice president and executive director of
intelligence market. Szymczak most recently was vice president and
division manager of security at Science Applications International
Corp.
Stephen Bittner joined services automation software
developer Unanet Technologies Inc., of Sterling, Va., as
vice president of professional services. Bittner formerly was at
Genesys Software Systems Inc.
Wanda Austin was named to succeed William Ballhaus
Jr. as president and CEO at the Aerospace Corp., of El
Segundo, Calif., effective Jan. 1, 2008, when Ballhaus retires.
Austin is senior vice president at the company's national
systems group in Chantilly, Va. Manuel De Ponte, general
manager at the company's MilSatCom division, will succeed
Austin.
Mike White joined transportation, airport management,
disaster relief and aviation support services provider SkyLink
Air and Logistics Support USA Inc., of Dulles, Va., as COO.
White most recently was president at Trade Network Consultants.
Yo Delmar joined IT regulatory compliance provider
Brabeion Software Inc., of McLean, Va., as chief marketing
officer. Delmar formerly was vice president at Skybox Security.
Barry Dowdy joined TeleCommunication Systems Inc.,
of Annapolis, Md., as vice president at SwiftLink Deployable
Communications Systems, a division of TCS' Government
Solutions Group. Dowdy most recently was a Marine Corps Systems
Command program manager.
Mike Fix joined Citizant Inc., of Chantilly, Va.,
as vice president of human resources. Fix most recently was human
resources director at L-3 Communications Group.
Deborah Brunetti joined Dynamics Research Corp.,
of Andover, Mass., as vice president and general manager of
contracts. Brunetti most recently established and led the contracts
and subcontracts organization at High Performance Technologies
Inc.
Ines LeBow joined Mobile Satellite Ventures LP, of
Reston, Va., as vice president of next-generation services
programs. LeBow most recently was senior vice president of
engineering and operations at Xspedius Communications Inc.
Michael Bohlig joined fabric computing system provider
Liquid Computing Inc., of Los Altos, Calif., and Ottawa, as
vice president of service provider sales. Bohlig most recently led
business development at Sun Microsystems Inc.'s Project
BlackBox.
Jim O'Farrell was named COO of enterprise
collaboration tool developer Applied Knowledge Group Inc.,
of Reston, Va. O'Farrell most recently was vice president of
business development at the company.
Promoted
At CSSI Inc., of Washington: Dawn Hatterer to vice
president of human resources.
Claire Grady advances mid-month to her new position as
senior procurement executive and head of contracting activity for
the Coast Guard's new acquisitions directorate. Grady is
director of strategic initiatives at the Homeland Security
Department's Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.
Sheldon Fox was tapped to be president of Harris
Corp.'s Defense Department programs business unit, which
provides communications systems, networks and products for military
aerospace, terrestrial and maritime applications.
Fox previously was vice president of programs at Harris
Government Communications Systems' DOD business unit, which
provides information processing and communications solutions to the
military services and prime contractors.
William Fairl was promoted to president of U.S.
operations at CACI International Inc., and Randall
Fuerst was promoted to COO of the division.
Fairl has been COO of CACI's U.S. operations since March
2005, and Fuerst led CACI's Enterprise Technologies and
Services business group. The appointments are effective July 1.
Fairl will have primary responsibility for all of CACI's
domestic federal, state and local markets. Fuerst will be
responsible for CACI's main business groups and its core
offerings of systems integration, network services, engineering
services and knowledge management.
Fairl joined CACI in 1998 with the acquisition of QuesTech Inc.
Fuerst joined CACI in 2005 after serving as senior vice president
of operations at Titan Corp.
