State Department awards blanket purchase agreements to support its worldwide Security Assurance Services and Innovations program.

The State Department has awarded blanket purchase agreements to eight prime contractors to support its worldwide Security Assurance Services and Innovations program.

The five-year BPA, awarded under the General Services Administration's Information Technology 70 Schedule, has a ceiling value of $710 million for the eight awards.

The eight prime contractors are Computer Sciences Corp., SRA International Inc., Northrop Grumman Corp., STG Inc., ManTech International Corp., Integrated Communication Solutions Inc., FuGen Inc. and CACI International Inc., the department said.

The Security Assurance Services and Innovation BPA calls for technical, engineering, management, logistical and other support services and purchases that will provide security for a full range of information resources, including publicly available information.

The contract covers wireless, physical and logical monitoring and security systems, as well as other computer-managed or controlled systems or networks. The BPA will also boost compliance with mandates set by the Federal Information Security Management Act, CACI said.
