Asava to lead Perot enterprise planning

Perot Systems Corp. has named Raj Asava vice president to lead its newly created Enterprise Planning Group and direct the development of new business for the Consulting and Application Solutions Group.

Asava will oversee the company's next-generation corporate strategy and all sales activities in the global Consulting and Application Solutions Group.

Before joining Perot Systems, Asava was senior vice president of strategic deals at Satyam Computer Services. He also was global director of knowledge management at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He previously served as director of emerging technologies and trends at EDS Corp., where his work establishing an information technology solutions center in India that became an integral part of the company's global organization was the subject of a Harvard Business School case study.

Perot Systems ranks No. 60 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
