Tell us your stories

Find opportunities — and win them.

I encourage you to read Doug Beizer's story in today's issue of Washington Technology.

Doug recounts the experiences of three men working as contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are providing IT support for medical systems and often are deployed with soldiers very close to the action.

From gunfire to rocket attacks, their stories are vivid reminders of the seriousness of the mission contractors and soldiers share.

Their stories also are part of the history of the contracting industry and its ever evolving relationship with the government.

I want you to use this blog as an opportunity to share those stories and help write the first draft of that history. You can post your stories here or you can e-mail them to me at nwakeman@1105govinfo.com.

Some of the stories will appear just here, while others maybe collected into a future story or other Washington Technology project.
