Under the contracts, Park Air Systems has or will upgrade systems in Romania, Hungary, Croatia and Latvia. The total value of the work is about $15 million.

Depending on customer needs, the upgrades involve improvements to digital radio equipment, deployment of surface movement guidance and control systems and installation of remote control monitoring systems.

Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems supplies communication, navigation and surveillance systems for air and space operations around the globe. Its offices are located in Peterborough, United Kingdom, as well as Oslo and Horten, Norway.

Park Air Systems is a unit of Northrop Grumman of Los Angeles. The parent company ranks No. 3 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
