The National Defense Industrial Association raised $32,000 at its annual golf tournament for the USO's Washington area chapter.

The National Defense Industrial Association raised $32,000 at its annual golf tournament for the USO's Washington area chapter. The tournament was held at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

The check was scheduled to be presented to Washington-area USO President Elaine Rogers May 11 at a luncheon held by NDIA.

The USO supports enlisted service members, providing support to soldiers and their families. The D.C. chapter operates airport lounges and family service centers. Other services include food assistance and emergency housing.
