Orizon to continue work for HUD

The Department of Housing and Urban Development has agreed to let Orizon Inc. continue supporting HUD's Multifamily Housing Integration project. Orizon, a Rockville, Md.-based business, provides database management and software release management support for the HUD initiative.

Orizon originally scored a $2.5 million contract for the project late in 2004. The new contract to continue the work spans four years and will be worth about $3.5 million, according to the company.

The company's work pertains to HUD's Housing Enterprise Real Estate Management System (HEREMS) database, which provides information to support various functions involving multifamily programs, such as enforcement activities and real estate assessment, according to Orizon.
