Skire Inc. today announced an enterprise agreement valued at $3.5 million to provide its Unifier software to all of Ohio's state agencies, colleges and universities.

Unifier automates forms, paperwork, bidding documents, change orders, cost tracking, schedules and other information pertaining to construction projects.

The browser-based software will provide "one software solution on all state-administered construction projects," said Sateez Kadivar, vice president of business operations for Skire. "Before, people kept a lot of this information in e-mails, and it was outdated," he said.

Unifier will integrate with the state's existing PeopleSoft-based enterprise resource planning system, the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS).
