Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $388.8 million contract from the Justice Department for information technology operations, infrastructure and security services.
The Justice Department awarded a federal Most Efficient Organization a $388.8 million contract to perform agency IT services, and Lockheed Martin Corp. will be its major industry subcontractor providing IT operations, infrastructure and security services. The contract is the result of a private-public competition under the Office of Management and Budget's Circular A-76 competition.
Lockheed Martin will provide a panoply of IT operations, such as mainframe, network, help-desk and data center services. The contractor also will provide enterprise architecture and other cross-cutting requirements and work on future projects, such as Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 and the Justice Security Operations Center, according to the posting on FedBizOpps.
