ManTech to help Army track and manage assets

ManTech International will assist the Army with property management under a recently awarded five-year, $80 million contract.

Applying its experience in areas such as logistics and operations and maintenance, ManTech International Corp. will assist the Army with property management under a recently awarded five-year, $80 million contract.

The task order was issued under the Headquarters Army Field Support Command's Global Property Management Services contract. It supports the Army Field Support Brigade CONUS West and the Army Field Support Brigade Pacific.

Under the contract, ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will furnish property program management and readiness tracking, automated records maintenance, property accountability, and property book visibility, evaluation, validation and analysis.

ManTech will perform services in Fort Lewis, Wash.; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Riley, Kan.; Fort Carson, Colo.; Fort Sill, Okla.; Fort Richardson, Alaska; Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

ManTech, which has more than 6,000 employees and had 2005 revenue of $980.3 million, ranks No. 21 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
