Calibre wins Army environmental advisory services deal

Calibre Systems Inc. will lead a team of seven companies that will deliver environmental support services to the Army through a $16.5 million contract.

Calibre Systems Inc. will lead a team of seven companies that will deliver environmental support services to the Army through a three-year, $16.5 million contract.

Under the contract, Calibre of Alexandria, Va., will supply a full range of advisory and assistance services to the Army Environmental Center.

The services include management and professional support services, engineering and technical services, and administrative services. The company also will conduct studies, analyses and evaluations as needed.

Calibre's teammates are ERM Group Inc., LMI, Z-GeoInfo Inc., Environment International Government Ltd., Aplen, American Risk Management Resources Network LLC and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

The team will perform the work throughout the continental United States and territories.

Calibre is a privately held company with about 415 employees.
