WFI wins Seaport-e administrative support subcontract

Wireless Facilities Inc. has won a subcontract from Indus Technology Inc. to help deliver administrative support services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division.

The SeaPort Enhanced, or SeaPort-e, task order is for the division's facilities in Keyport, Wash. WFI estimates its portion of the $9 million contract to be about $4 million.

Under the task order, WFI and Indus will help support the Undersea Warfare Center Division through a variety of organizational sectors. Both companies are based in San Diego. The task order is WFI's third with the division in 18 months.

The two companies will collaborate with the following several sectors of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, including the Operations Services Department and the Information Services Division.

SeaPort-e, is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracting vehicle used by the Navy commands to procure engineering, financial and program management support services.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center is the Navy's research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarine and undersea warfare.
