Stanley engineers Navy C4I deal

Under the contract, Stanley of Arlington, Va., will also assist with cryptologic, navigation, environmental and logistics capabilities to provide integrated capabilities to war fighters. The one-year contract has a five-year option period and a potential value of $21 million.

Stanley will provide system engineering, hardware and software support for the center's Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence programs, commonly known as C4I.

Stanley will provide technical support for a variety of C4I programs, including the Global Command and Control System-Maritime Family of Systems, Theater Battle Management Core System, Centrix and other C4I and surveillance and reconnaissance-related systems.

The systems are installed both ashore and afloat in Navy, Joint and National Command Centers. Stanley's team includes Allied Technology Group Inc., Juno Technology, King Technology, Mandex, Northrop Grumman Corp., ORI Services Corp. and Plexus Corp.

Stanley, which has about 2,300 employees at more than 100 locations around the globe, ranks No. 58 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
