IAC names '07 shared interest group leaders
The American Council for Technology's Industry Advisory Council has announced the nine industry representatives who will lead their shared interest groups for 2007.
The organization's membership elected the shared interest group leaders for 2007 earlier this month."The SIG's support IAC's core mission by working with government leaders to determine focus areas for the year and then providing their shared expertise back to government as a trusted advisor," said IAC Chair Bill Piatt."The candidates elected to lead the SIG's in 2007 will foster an ongoing dialogue between government and industry on the most relevant current topics," he said.
The American Council for Technology's Industry Advisory Council has announced the industry representatives who will lead its nine shared interest groups for 2007. The current structure and focus of each group remains unchanged from 2006, the organization said.
The new leaders of the shared interest groups are:
- Nancy Peters of CACI International Inc., who will lead the acquisition management group
- Gene Zapfel, of Unisys Corp., who will lead the collaboration and transformation group
- Steve Charles, of the Immix Group Inc., who will lead the emerging technology group
- Mike Tiemann, FEAC Institute, who will lead the enterprise architecture group
- Harold Youra, Alliance Solutions Inc., who will lead the homeland protection group
- Gail Azaroff, Vertex Solutions Inc., who will lead the human capital group
- Bob Dix of Citadel Security Software Inc., who will lead the information security and privacy group
- Tony Bardo, Qwest Communications International Inc., will lead the networks and telecommunications group
- Mike Fox, Fed 5 Corp., will lead the small business group.
