CACI forms up for Army Reserve IT work

CACI International inc. won a four-year, $17 million task order to support infrastructure assurance services to the Army Reserve's anti-terrorism activities around the world.

CACI of Arlington, Va., will evaluate critical infrastructure programs and procedures that help determine vulnerabilities to terrorist threats. This includes helping the Army Reserve Command gauge the effectiveness of anti-terrorism activities, assess programs, review defensive information operations and furnish intelligence analysis.

The task order was awarded under the Army Forces Command Operations, Planning, Training and Resources Support Services contract.

CACI supports the Army Reserve Command in other areas, and previously had developed its Defense Information Operation scans, a data storage and retrieval system.

CACI, which has about 10,200 people and had annual revenue of more $1.6 billion for fiscal 2005, ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list the largest federal IT contractors.
