Aviel Systems takes home two DHS acquisition deals

Aviel Systems Inc. will supply the Homeland Security Department with acquisition support services through two contracts worth a total of $4.1 million.

DHS awarded the pair of contracts under a blanket purchase agreement for its Office of Procurement Operations. Both contracts are for one year with four one-year options.

Performance Management Consulting Inc., a unit of Aviel, will handle the contract work.

Aviel has furnished support to numerous DHS programs and offices, including the Office of Security, Office of the CIO, Geospatial Program, Citizen and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Protection.

Aviel of McLean, Va., offers IT and program management consulting services to federal agencies focused on homeland security and civilian aviation.
