SYS Technologies wins software development pact
SYS Technologies Inc. won an engineering support contract with the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego.
SYS Technologies Inc. won an engineering support contract with the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego.
The contract is worth $21.6 million over five years to the San Diego-based company.
SYS Technologies' net-centric software division will supply engineering support for command, control, communications, computer and intelligence software applications and database systems. The work will include systems requirements, design, implementation and integration.
The contract, which was awarded to SYS Technologies' Defense Solutions Group, will support the FORCEnet and Net-enabled Command Capability programs.
SYS Technologies' president and CEO Cliff Cooke said that the award brings the company's new contract revenues total to $37 million for fiscal 2007, which began July 1. The company has set a goal of $50 million in new contracts for the first half of fiscal 2007, he said.
SYS Technologies, which offers IT connectivity solutions, has about 400 employees and had annual revenue of $55.9 million in fiscal 2006.
