SRA International Inc. is revving up its acquisition engine again, this time to acquire RABA Technologies LLC, a provider of technical services to national security and intelligence agencies.

SRA International Inc. is revving up its acquisition engine again. The Fairfax, Va., systems integrator is planning to acquire RABA Technologies LLC, a provider of technical services to national security and intelligence agencies.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but RABA has about $60 million in annual revenue and 200 employees.

The acquisition is SRA's first of 2006, but the company closed three in 2005: Spectrum Solutions Group in November 2005, Galaxy Scientific Corp. in July and Touchstone Consulting Group Inc. in April.

The deal for RABA will close after clearing regulatory reviews, which should be finished in about a month, SRA officials said.

RABA brings expertise in mathematics, software and electrical engineering, high-performance computing infrastructure, storage management, disaster recovery, information security, Web development, and interactive technologies. The company's customers include the National Security Agency and the Homeland Security Department.

"Expansion throughout the intelligence community is a high priority for SRA, and RABA's capabilities and client set will complement ours very effectively," said Renny DiPentima, SRA president and CEO.

SRA is ranked No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list.
