Intermec Inc. of Everett, Wash., has introduced a new, reusable radio frequency identification tag ideal for harsh applications.The Small Rigid Tag measures 1.22 inches by 3.11 inches and has a wide-band antenna design that lets the tag be used almost anywhere on virtually any surface, including metal, plastic and wood.The compact and rugged design enables the tag to withstand temperatures from 40 below to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, and long-term exposure to chemicals, such as methyl ethyl ketone, isopropyl alcohol, acetone and kerosene. It can be reused thousands of times.Exalead Inc., a New York search software company, has new versions of its unified search products for desktop and workgroup environments.The new releases of exalead one now have no indexing limitations, regardless of documents' format or location, at no additional cost.
