TechTeam gets HHS financial management deal

TechTeam Government Solutions Inc. won a five-year, $4.1 million contract from the Health and Human Services Department to deliver application support for its payment management system.

TechTeam's support services cover network connectivity and configuration management, program management and information security for the Payment Management Division's centralized financial payment system. The system administers more than 24,000 grant applications and billions in grant money.

TechTeam Government Solutions of Chantilly, Va., offers IT services to federal and state and local governments and is a wholly owned subsidiary of TechTeam Global Inc. of Southfield, Mich.

The parent company has nearly 2,200 employees and posted 2005 revenue of $166.5 million.
